It will be hosted by partner FRCT (Fundo Regional para a Ciência e Tecnologia), in Horta (Azores, Portugal), next 23rd and 24th October.
The 5th iFADO meeting will be hosted by FRCT and will take place in Fábrica da Baleia de Porto Pim (Horta, Azores), a reconverted sperm whale processing factory.
The project objectives will be addressed in a conventional meeting that will last for 1 and 1/2 days. For instance, time will be devoted for the Work Packages (WP) and their link with associated partners and industry. After each WP presentation there will be a discussion over the presented material and following actions. Moreover, the meeting will include presentations of the associated partners, i.e. institutions in charge of the implementation of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD), in order to discuss some of their work related to the iFADO project, as well as some of the challenges they faced.
The consortium has been organizing other initiatives to complement the project meeting. Soon we will publish more information about all iFADO activities that will take place at Faial Island.
