Best practices guide for marine stakeholders’ involvement

Best practices.

In the context of iFADO, a best practice is an instrument that has produced good results in helping the Industry sector, particularly SMEs, and the Research sector work together in order to develop an innovative service, process, product or device either generically or ideally in the field of marine surveillance.

A best practice can be a policy, an organization, an infrastructure, a project, a process, a technique or a tool, addressing scientific, cultural, organizational, managerial, technical, administrative, financial and regulatory issues.

Case Studies

A case study is a real-life realization, a “success story” that illustrates what can be achieved in the field of marine surveillance by the successful collaboration between the research sector and industry.
